Hi, hope ime on the right forum, my 2007, auto creeps forward in drive but sometimes dont respond to the gas pedal, if I put it in manual and back again will respond, I have a i-soft diagnostic tool which brings up No faults, help please, am a newbie to Landys about 4weeks.

If I select drive straight after starting the engine it won’t accelerate, I have to put it back in park again for a few seconds then it’s fine.
I assumed this was normal and some kind of boot-up sequence

No, that's not normal. Do the fluid change and see if it improves, is there a filter for the gearbox? If so change that anorl.

It had all the fluids and filters done by Land Rover last year and no change. It’s been like that for years ever since I got it. The headlights, fuel gauge, heater blower all spring to life at the same time so it can only be electrical. I have just got into the habit of starting the engine then putting my seatbelt on before shifting to drive.
