Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but for some reason I can't post in the 'Wanted' section - probably because I'm new.
I'm after a double cab roof as I want to King-Cab my Defender - currently it's a 110 truck cab, so limited in how far back I can get the seat and I need space for dogs / tools / guns etc.
I have looked on the usual auction site and it seems that the sellers do like to charge a premium for these. I don't mind paying reasonable money, but I'm not prepared to pay over the top for tat.
It has been suggested that I simply cut down a 90 roof, but having seen some that have been done, it never looks 100% and the roof profile of a truck cab vs. a 90 is totally different - thus possible water ingress issues.
So, can anyone help or provide any further advice?
