Hi all I am wanting to plan out a conversion of my 1999 TD5 110 3 door Commercial to a 110 4 door double cab.... is there anyone with knowledge of parts that I would require to do this and of any things I should be aware of when doing this, help much appreciated :)

i would be tempted to speak to landrover direct they are very helpfull in such matters, when these vehicles are made the chassis and body fittings are all the same thats why you see so many spare holes and bits welded on which leaves you scratching your head as to what they are for, the chassis is the same but they are built to take different bodys.

I looked into doing something like this with my previous landy (300tdi van). Unless you can buy the whole csw rear body complete with doors and c pillars it is NOT worthwhile. The c pillars are about £300 each. As are the rear doors. Then you need the double cab roof (rare as rocking horse dung) etc etc. It was cheaper to buy a new landy that it was to convert my old one.
