Hi all i was wondering if anybody knows how the law stands with taking the doors off a series 3 landy and driving it is this legal or can i only take the door tops off? :violent:

There was a long thread on this recently but I can't find it. Seem to remember that tops off was ok but not the doors.

motion seconded ^^^^^^^

the series 3 door hinges were designed to stay on and were 1 piece so youd get arse raped by the rozzers for that

but the series 2-2A were designed as split hinges and could lift off so its legal to do that with them

Not completely correct ....The ONLY legal way is IF the doors were designed to be removeable without tools ...
I.E. like on a lightweight or series 1 where they just tilt and/or lift off.

Probability is that most traffic orofices would have a sense of humour fail seeing you with no doors fitted.
