Doors, galvanised with alu skin Vs Galvanised with galv steel skin ?

Hi all ..

More work on the solution for my back door , I have seen the option of Galvanised frame with a Alu skin , or a full galvanised frame and steel skin ...

I don't know enough about either atm to make up my mind , price is much as much .. What I do know is the full steel Galv version is about 3.5 KG more ..

Whats peoples thoughts , what would you buy , Cheers guys ..

I can’t help with an answer for this. But I would be very interested in the result as have been looking at new doors as well and did not know what the better choice would be.

I do not know for sure but would not putting Aly next to Zinc result in some bimetal corrosion just like Aly next to steel ?

Either will be very nice, but would assume the all galv steel version will last longer.
But whatever you fit, if you wax it often it wall last a long time.
