door wont open???

Changed the NS back door actuator as it was making some funky noises and not workimg properly.

New one works fine but the door wont open unless the door pin is lifted a couple of mm. Any ideas why this is?

mine does that i have to use the key to get the extra mm then it opens

Sounds like door springs do a search been covered a few times i think there's a guide too cheap to fix enjoy

Ahh I wondered if it was that but there was no mention of the symtoms in the guide

Exactly what my old disco used to do door pin not going all the way up, a bit of a pain to get at follow the guide it helped me loads, prepare for some knuckle scrapping boot one is the worst one to do i thought no room in there at all
