Door window pullys snapped!?

hi i finnished work tonight got in my freelander 1 and pulled up to the clock mechine got my coat out the boot and when i **** the door the window dropped failed attempts to shut it left me driving home with it open, ive now pulled the card off and found a pulleys snapped really unsure how this has happend!? Any advice??

Needs replacement cables, or whole caboosh which is a bit more money, quite doable, everything wears out eventually !

This is true i had problems with it before shutting and not opening so maybe fix it and then do the thing to reset the system for it or maybe drive it into a wall and buy a discovery
