Door Top - Glazed or Unglazed

Hi All,
I need a new door top for my drivers door. I can get a glazed one for £68 or a door top and window channel fitting kit for £51 (using the original glass). Question is; How easy is it to fit the channels/seals to the door top? Is it worth the hassle to save £17?

Perhaps easier to paint if not assembled but I'd buy them complete personally

....Always good to have the spare glass.

I bought the Rocky Mountain ones for mine last year. Not cheap but it's very handy to have both sections of glass to slide open and they won't rust again.

£50 + VAT glazed, and very good quality, just bought tops and doors and very impressed

If it is complete but supplied in primer, you will still have to take it apart to paint behind runners etc and inside faces or it will rust.

Not had Rocky Mountain ones, will have a look.

Quite well made tbh, but as said, take them apart and paint inside or they will start to rust quite quickly.

Gone for the separate top and channel kit so I can top coat the inner door top to stop it rusting as LtWt says..............£44.34 delivered

How would you get a good coat of paint inside the hollow section?

Not in the box section.............under where the slide channels sit.

Yes and through hole for window lock if series 3 type- for which one could use wax oil or similar.

Those are the same as mine, I haven't taken them apart yet
