door locks

hello buddies.
I have got to fit a new door lock/barrel lock to the drivers door on a 3 door disco TDi
Is there an easy way to do this or is just a pain in the rsend
look forward to hearing from anyone who has had this problem in the past and fitted new lock.

Has your lock seized up? If it has it is a pain in the backside because the small pin that you push to release the lock from its housing won't retract.

thanks ratty
yes it seized.
got new lock but like an idiot i took the key out before fitting it.
springs and pins flew everywhere.
took 3 hours to find and put everything back in correct order.

yes i suppose a hasp and staple would work
