Door Lock Problem

My passenger door will not open .is there any other way apart from destroying the lock of getting the door open?
All the locks work with both keys and fobs so its a mechanical problem.

I think you can get the door card off with the door closed might be a bit of a fiddle from there you will be able to get at the actuator I assume it is not opening from inside or out the actuator on the passenger side has two levers the one nearest the front of the lock does the sill button the one further back with the snap clip does the connection from the door handle then there is a cable connection in the middle which also connects to this lever
if you can get access you should be ok

I can get to the Acutators down the window channel but cannot remove the door trim as the screw at the from of the door is behind the airbag aand cannot be removed
I have found a link thay shows me how to destroy the lock with a big hammer and long screwdriver .
its almost as if its superlocked on that door

bashing the lock will not work, obtain a new doorcard off ebay and destry the door card, it will be cheaper and your car can still be secured!!! you can live with no door card for a while!!!

oval, i had this problem twice, i did nt try t destroy t lock but its one of t two options. if you mange to remove t door card you ll still have too destroy t lock too open t door, what i done was i took ff t back door hung it from t roof, that allowed me room too cutt striker bar not easy either, but now youll have too get a new striker bar also, basically what happens is a plastic part in t lock breaks yes thats what opens t door a bit of plastic and i mean a bit its tiny, and also try and get t replacement from t exact year of vehicle, i did nt and had too make one out t two, personally i d say follow t thread on how too destroy t lock its what i d try t next time first.

Thanks Nan i wiil not try to get in untill i'm back in the UK and get hold of a new lock.
