DOOR CHECK STRAP SET UP

Hi

Was wondering if I have my door check mechanism set up right. All the parts are correct LH and RH but shouldn't the torsion bar move to let the strap past onto the rubber buffer. It's the same on the safari door at the back, didn't have time to video it battery getting flat.

It should do yes to hold the door open, try it with the door fitted will probably work. I found mine to be very solid.
