Door central locking and unlocking randomly

Hi,

The Mrs claims the doors are locking and unlocking while she is driving the car. Seems to be infrequent at present.

I have not investigated the car as yet, but as far as I know the system works perfectly as it should.

I have done a search on this and assume it must be a failing door locking mechanism.

Any info, is this is likely to be the case or if it could be something different, and tips on finding the failing mechanism?????

Can they be removed and cleaned up?

She also mentioned the drivers window was banging once at the top, so looks like a new window regulator is required, so I will need to get inside that door shortly.

the banging is the door window regulator, around 40 quid, be warned tho, the windows tend to drop when you change the reg, and then wont close properly, ive yet to sort mine!

the locks are easy, take the drivers out and strip it down, re grease it and clean the connections!
