Hi everyone

My dad took his door cards off to repair the failing window winder, but when he did he broke the clips at the top of the door card off. We are just wondering how to reattach the clips as there doesn't seem to be access to the back of the clips if that makes sense. I believe The clips are shown in the second photo a bit closer.

I have tried doing a search but I'm only on tapatalk which doesn't seem to want to give me any info at all useful. If there is a thread on this I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction or if someone knows how to attach the clips to put the card back on would be great.

Thanks

Truely awful photo's can't rally see what you mean:

but on the door card there should be little round rasied buttons all the way round, a clip slides on to these. The clip has a circual base to fit around the buttons on the door card and a spike with notches on it which is pushed into holes in the door frame to hold the card in place.

Problem being that when i removed my door cards, I broke many of the buttons from the door card.

The buttons are these: MUC3186 CLIP DOOR TRIM | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series

and I couldn't find a picture of the pegs / spikes which fit to them, you must have a load around the drive / cab.

Not sure if thats clear at all, but difficult to describe!

Cheers. Does make sense. Sorry about the pictures but they were the only ones I had and I ain't near them to get better pics.

I had some success by aralditing some pop rivets (minus the pin) into the holes. The heads of some are the same size that fits the bits that go into the door frame. Then slide the semicircular ones on and press them into the holes in the door.
The design of the fittings is awful though, as soon as you take the card off some inevitably break.
