Don't buy cheap suspension airbags for your Disco !

So I recently replaced my airbags, shopped online on Ebay and bought a pair for just £82......5 miles later and one of them broke under the weight. This caused the suspension to droop on one side in half a second. Thankfully I was only doing around 15mph at the time, if this happened at motorway speeds it could have caused a huge accident.

I replaced these with Dunlops which are clearly a quality product compared to the rubbish available .

I paid £120 for two dunlops in the Summer. SO can you give the ebay ref and supplier fro the cheapies so that others are warned off of them please.

There's some crap on ebay and also some reputable sellers. The trick is to know which is which.
120 quid and up is a sensible price to pay. Less that 100 quid and you're asking for a bit of grief.

And that is what he got, thankfully no one got hurt, If it was me, I would be sending a message to ebay saying they are selling dangerous equipment .

I would be informing trading standards.Im sorry but it doesn’t matter how cheap something is it should never be dangerous.Poor quality/life/ride quality etc but something like that is lethal.

Not convinced the failure is due to quality, more to do with fitment, ie the bag not locked in properly before use.
