Hi ALL in Landyzone

Hope someone can Please help me!!

My Right Hand side indicators have stopped working / Flashing, The Left Hand side flash fine.

I know the bulbs are good as the Hazzards Flash all the bulbs, So I am ruling out the Relay or should I just replace it?

There's hardly a fuse for the RH side, is there?

Can anyone help me please? Its driving me Crazy

Its a range rover 1997 2.5 DSE

Dunno about Rangies, but i'm pretty sure my Defender has seperate fuses for the right and left hand sides.

Sounds like it could be your main BECM (Body electronic Control Module) this handles all things like this. Unfortunatly its a specialist job, unless your not afraid of electronics. I have read post of people swapping out their switching boards for a spare one robbed from a second hand unit rather than fix the one or two failed transistors (MOFFSETS I think they are called). Unfortunatly you cant swap the whole thing as each one is unique to its car. Best to find someone with the specialist diagnostic kit to confirm before you go delving in there. Do any of the indicators work on the right ?

Have a look here to start with

Hi guys

Thanks Guys for the reply

Which part is the switching board? Is it the complete PCM

I had been thinking of the BECM ,Not too daunted by the electronic repair as i do a little!! but the hassle of access put me of and which component........MOFFSETS or Relay to repair? and How to identify ( blackened or which one for indicators)?

Is it the BECM for sure?

Hi Rewmer

Thanks for all the help.

Only the right...... front / Back and Side indicators Gone

This is an interesting bit of info......I will have to give it a bit of study before doing anything.

Just wondering If it's the BECM why doesn't a Fault message come up on my Dash display?

regards illiadie
