Dog Guard/Shelf?

Hi,
Just a thought but can you have the proper Dog Guard fitted at the same time as the Roller Blind style Parcel Shelf

Selling my Rigid Black Shelf as i have just bought a Dog Guard but still want some sort of shelf as the dogs are not always in the car......thought a 'roller' type was the best bet but need to know if both items fit at the same time....

as you say ridged i take you have a three door in that case i do not think the roller blind will fit the three door but some one on here might know different

the roller made by LR only fits the 5 door but I guess there could made some adjustments,
don't know if there is one made by any aftermarket brand

Sorry should have said i have the 3 door.....i just assumed 3 & 5 door rollers were available.....

Will have another look on fleabay...

Hi,
Does seem that the Roller Blind style/type is only for the 5 doors.....has anybody ever converted the 5 door one to fit a 3 door?

Not seen a 5 door one close up so is there much difference in the shape & do you think its feesible to trim one to fit a 3 door.....

Ian,

Mine is a five-door.

As far as I could see, from looking at the back of 3-doors, it's the car that would need modifying - not the roller gizmo.

What is missing is the slots to mount the roller itself behind the rear seats and the slots in the rear pillars to catch it when it is extended.

I think that it's possible you could make little brackets to do the job though.

Just for info, 5 door blind can be left in place when dog guard is fitted. Always take mine off when dogs in the car as she jumps up and can damage the blind.

in 2007 i used to own a TD4 and that was a 3 door black interior and that used to have a rollor cover in the boot.... the 2000 model i have now came with a plastic parcel shelf
