Does this seal look right to you??

Just had a new Pinion seal delivered from Paddocks for my 110 Salisbury rear diff, OEM quality apparently

But the seal looks wonky. Is this normal or should I send it back?

I'd return if time is on your side - you don't want to fit twice

Paddocks are pretty good - why not phone them and arrange to email the piccy for their comment?

Yeah they are good. Just wanted to know if it's ok to fit or i should send it back.

Looks like a leather seal to me if so its ok [emoji106]pre soak it in oil for a few hrs or over nite before fitting and will be fine [emoji106]

OEM means nothing. Why not fit genuine?

Yes it is a leather seal.

It's not genuine because Paddocks didn't give me that option and my closest Landrover main dealer is 40 miles away!
