Does this axle look right?

I'm hoping the pic will display properly. It's of a 300tdi rear axle. Does it look right to you? It looks as though it's got some sort of spacer in to me? I can't find a decent exploded drawing to identify if this is standard so if anyone can confirm I'd be grateful.
