It was down for several hours yesterday, and is definitely looking different.
I suspect the forum has moved to a different server or maybe even a different platform, as there are lots of changes.
Hopefully the issues have now been resolved.
 
Nope, not your imagination, it's definitely looking different and more crisp. Looks like its running a much newer version of the forum software.

My first experience of the new site was on a phone, and its pretty poor.

Dunno if its any better than the old site cos I don't use a phone to view LZ much as its a bit like trying to undo a rusty nut with chopsticks - wrong tool for the job.

I mainly use my PC for viewing LZ. On a PC, there's no doubt the new site is miles better than the old one - chalk and cheese. However, I used override CSS on the old site to make it look very similar to the new one.

Here's a screen shot of how I viewed the old site. In practice, I viewed full screen, so posts were often/usually only as tall as the avatar and I had a lot less scrolling to to (unless there were pictures or a lot of text)...
