Does the Freelander before 2003 have a low fuel light?

My recently purchased 1998 Freelander doesn't have one but the instruments are the same as the 2001 Freelander we had many years ago, from memory my 2001 model had a low fuel warning light - am I making this up

Early Freelanders don't have one. Daft in it. My 2001 has one.

my 2000 model one didn't have one either.

My 51 plate has one. In most cars, it means "You still have loads of fuel left!" but not in the Freelander!
