remove the pto cover and pull the gear out and see

Just to show how thick I can be, how is that done then James? does the gear just pull out by hand? if it's that easy it's worth having a look just to be sure before I start getting problems.

Ah, that could be a problem then, I swapped the t/box for a disco 1.22 one last year, as the old one was well noisy and I had the disco box sat in the corner doing nothing.
