Does box have to come off to change torque converter

I think you'd struggle a bit without either removing the engine or gear box to be honest.

So it's a big job then, it's just I av just payed 250 for sum1 to change mi box en now I fink the problem was the torque converter and wunded if I cud av ad the torqu converter replaced without Avin to pay some1 to remove the box again

You need to be very sure that the person doing it knows what they are at, as its very easy to damage the TC or front pump !!!!

torque convertor needs fitting in box before gear box is joined to engine otherwise pump will be buggered

Ok thanks I fink I mite just look into having the truck converted to manual so it's less problems
