Dodgy sound on TV

The sound on my incar TV keeps cutting off. No matter what channel I am on or where the car is parked (Top of hill or bottom ) still does it no matter where. The system is set up for UK reception and I have no problems with the picture. The sound on the radio and CD is spot on. My car is a 2007 Range Rover Vogue TD8.

Any help as always greatley appreciated.

Look for water in the N/S rear quarter electronics.

Don't think the later model suffers with the same water ingress

Bad aftermarket airiel?

Have checked for water contamination, but can not find any around the electronics.

Anymore suggestions greatly appreciated.

So if it's just loss of sound but the picture remains stable and it happens after a set length of time, it could well be a semiconductor failing in the TV unit.
