Dodgy oil warning light.

Hello all, on my Disco 300 Deisel, the oil light keeps flashing on/off, sometimes stays on, sometimes stays off. Checking the oil via the dipstick, it looks well topped up if anything slightly higher than max. Any ideas?

Replace the switch £4.50 max before you get concerned about oil pumps etc

Are you using the correct grade of oil for your engine.

The switch, can I buy one from a Landy stockist? the oil is magnatec Diesiel 40 -10

Oil ok and the switch get a any motor parts supplier its a Rover/MG part.
