Hello
This is my first post!
I have a Defender 110 2010 with low miles - just turned 50k- which has a rear light problem.
When the lights are on the RH stop/tail light does not glow, while the LH does, and then when I brake the RH glows with the high door light but the LH goes out
Also when I changed the bulb, hoping this would cure, the fuse blew resulting in over revving when I depressed the clutch pedal!!!
That I sorted by reading a post on this site so many thanks!
Is it an earthing fault?

Start by checking and cleaning the earth point on the right (drivers side) of the transfer box, all the earths from the rear of the vehicle go to this point. Then clean up the earth point on the left (passenger side) of the transfer box, this is a thick cable between the transfer box and the chassis - at which point the battery earth cable is also fixed. If this does not clear the issue, work through the individual earth wires for each light, and also the heated rear screen.
