That's why people get killed on the roads. Wouldn't be posting that if it was mine. Yes we all have failures they are landies after all but that's just shocking maintenance in my opinion, maybe not by yourself but previous owner but glad your changing them anyways.

unfortunately ill have to admit it is my bad maintinence, hence why at the moment its off the road , been scraping for bout 2 months but as I have gradually been collecting a rather special brake setup it was a " ill do it tomorrow "job, I did draw the line when I had to travel 50 miles using the handbrake as the pistons had popped

I am so guna shafted for admitting this !

Mate not gonna shaft ya not stressing I see much worse daily at work but just make my point and don't harp on it buddy. Life's to short for arguments and silly crap on forums. Nobody's dead u know what you need to do so good on ya for sorting it.

not a bad response im quite surprised I was expecting a lot of abuse for admitting its my fault lol may just leave them for that 3k guys

I was certainly surprised when I took the wheel off to see what had happened, they are like a razor blade , might keep one for the wall .........

I was surprised at how well they were working until the pistons popped ! hardly any difference to normal just a tad juddery
