Well just one last comment then. It sounds as if your vehicle simply needs a replacement chassis, which is not necessarily as expensive as you might think. Also it would all be done a lot faster than doing endless chassis patches.
If you get a galvanised one, which would be best, it would then last a long, long time.
But in the end it is obvs up to you.

(Guy local to me who did a very good patch job on mine for £200 plus vat, said he would replace the back 1/3 of the chassis for £700 plus vat, so you do not have to pay the prices you can find on the internet, which I have looked at and which are a lot higher!)

Does anyone on ere have the space and want to take on the job?
