After having some works done at a local landy garage they suggested I may need a wide angle front prop. As when on the lift with the suspension at full droop the front prop was binding on rotation.

I do a fair bit of hard off roading where the axles would be at full articulation.

I was trying to find a wide angle prop but seem to be a fair few around. Apparently wide angle front props where fitted to TD5s from standard?

Is the above what I have as standard? Or have I got to go for the spenny one

Your not going to replicate the axle drop on the lift when your actually off roading, unless you go hard over big jumps. I'd leave it as it is.
How long have you had it, been off roading it anyway? have you had problems before with the prop?

Thats fair. I dont plan to jump it, again

Been like it two years, been off roading and all over. Not had an issue as far as I can tell. What would be a symptom of the prop binding?

UJs are in good nick too

Bankz,

If I was you I would give Gwyn a call, very nice chap, who will take the time to explain the differences, Plus it is worth asking the difference berween other " blue " similar looking props and what he supplies, he should remember the conversation he had with me back in September. When I got my GL props last year there were a few places stating or making it look like they were selling the same product , but they were not.

I got the 300tdi 90 GL wide angle HD props.

Cheers
