My 1998 DSE has had the dreaded DMF shake for a while now and its getting worse. It only happens when the gearbox gets warm but definitely happening on shorter journeys now. I guess the DMF gets more and more worn and then completely fails. With the parts alone being £700 plus it doesn't really make economic sense to fix it for a car thats only worth around £1500. Trouble is I really love the old bus and have always had Land Rovers of some sort. I'm being bewitched by the L322 TD6 even with its issues and costs!! I know its stupid but when did owning a Range Rover make any sort of sense? Let loose with the opinions!

the £1500 you get for the dse would be nice to put towards a l322 recon box when it fails;)
