Hi,

On the dizzy cap there are the clips which hold the cap on. what firing number lies on either side of it as just reading peoples issues with firing order and rechecking mine has put doubt in my head as to my firing order.

Since I have rebuilt the engine and now looking in the manuals where it all looks lovely, but doesn't really translate on to the actual cap without causing a total mind f*#K!

thanks for the info but i've seen these and other like them which dont confirm 100% the cap number order from the clips point as a reference

You cannot place the firing order from the dizzy cap clips. It all depends where you have installed the dizzy everyone's number one from the clip could be different. Number one cylinder (front right)must be at top dead centre and on the firing stroke, where the rotor arm is pointing line up number one plug and the rest follow on from there 18436572.

Although normally the no1 on the dizzy cap is situated just to the right of the front clip, or should I say towards the no1 cylinder/bank1/passenger side of the front clip.

Cheers :)
