DIY front towbar/push bar

Has anyone fabricated their own? Im thinking of making one out of box section for pushing my ski boat down the slipway, would be very interested to see any other home made ones.
Also where do they fix to, Im guessing the chassis somewhere(!)..

We have em for our fenders. But when they get forgotten two shackles through the towing loop-through each other-through the trailer tow eye does the trick. Doesnt work if you dont have a towing eye tyoe hitch on the trailer and even though LR are calling this a towing loop now Id not trust it.

Ball hitch on bumper where it meets the chassis. Telescopic tubing, with pins to vary the length, and a female ball hitch on either end. Job done.
