DIY EAS Reader ???

Not had time to digest this but perhaps there are a few 'coneheads' out there.

Yes but not before some of the members got hold of it and I think one of them has built it using a PDA, need to read the whole thread

I did read the thread.

There's some C code and some examples of the code working in PDAs et al, but no schematic for the interface that was immediately obvious. Hence I tried to download the PDF.

The PDF was there when I just tried. It mentions a proprietary DB9 - ODBII cable.

I can't resolve the hosts domain (** server can't find Thailand File Sharing SERVFAIL).

Any chance you can grab the PDF file for me?

I've grabbed the file via a proxy site. Sorted

I have downloaded it and it's on a CD.
It doesn't read or allow changes, only unlocks the fault message. If anyone requires the download, send me a PM and I will mail it on-it has been scanned for viruses and is clean. You will need an Adobe reader.
Sorry I have not been online much lately, I am slogging me guts out in our Sister plant in Singapore and will be here for the next couple of weeks and can't get much access to a PC to read all the posts.
