Me again,

While messing around with my distributor I noticed a crack in the base plate.

These seem surprisingly expensive to buy second hand, presumably they are NLA.

The crack is at the lower end of the tube where the inner drive shaft exits. It runs about half way up the tube but not as far as where the driveshaft seals and the mounting of the actual distributor isn't affected.

Is this a common problem? Any reason why I should change it urgently? Anyone want to flog me one?

Cheers,

Al
