Hi all,
New to Land Rovers and also first time for me on a forum so here goes!!!
I have a V8 Discovery on a 'J', It has always ran fine however the other day it had a little miss whilst on the road which cleared itself immediately so I didn't give it much thought. Then later in the day going up a little climb it did it again.
Checked......
Temp gauge normal (about halfway)
Dizzy and plug leads (fine)
Header Tank (slightly low and lots of bubbles)
Oil (bottom marker on dipstick - no mayo on dipstick or filler cap)
Anyway, started it back up and continued day, never missed a beat!! Got home and checked water again(still slightly low and bubbly), started engine and took cap off (coolant dissapeared before my eyes!!).
Haven't been back to it yet (to see if coolant has returned!!) My worst thoughts were HGF but it runs fine, althought i've always thought it was a little underpowered but as it's my first one i've nothing to compare it too.
Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks Rob
