Found this on another forum:

"Discos with ACE are actively avoided in the Trade as they are unreliable and extremely troublesome (and therefore expensive) to resolve. Even warranty companies load the premiums for these cars by 100%."

Is there any truth in this?

don't see many people on here with ACE problems , so it can't be that unreliable- it certainly makes a difference to the handling of the vehicle.

my ACE makes the car a dream, and a 2001 model, with trouble free motoring. Seems you may be given false info.
