Hi there just joined up and have got a few landys. I have a disco 2 and a series. Disco 2 is the newest and I am working my way through the little niggles. The problem I am on with at the moment is with the central door locking. If I use the button inside the vehicle they all open really quick but if I use the key fob they open really slow and I have to press it a few times. Is this something that others have come accross. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Are your remote batteries ok? Might also be worth checking the receiver has a good earth connection. You'll find it inside the headlining by the rear sunroof I believe.

Hi there, thought I had replaced the batteries in both new keys but perhaps not. Just done so and they are opening well. When opening, is it one click to disengage the double locks then another to open? Appears to be the way but working well in any case . Many thanks.

In normal operation, the central locking will unlock the driver's door only on the first press and the other doors on the second press of the oval button on the fob.
Regarding batteries for the fobs many owners recommend that you use good quality batteries, not "a quid for fifty" deals in your local pound shop.
