discovery central locking

hi all i have a 300 tdi 95 plate disco. when i got the car there was loads of problems with it. these are now gone. apart from one the central locking and alarm do not work.

i dont have a key fob either.

with the keys i can unlock the front doors and tail gate. the others do not work. this is starting to do my head in big time :doh:


i have changed the drivers side door unit as this seems to control it all but still no joy. there is a 12v supply at the actuator also.

the unit in passenger footwell area amr2109 has been changed to

any help would be appreciated.

Check the actuators in the other doors (slaves) they can stick or may require just a slight adjustment on their mounting plate also there's only two wires going to each.

would be unlikely that all were dead surely. or does this happen

Yes unlikely I would think also but then who knows, on D1s the two wires from the drivers door master actuator to the slaves are pink and orange the so check voltage there, the polarity changes on locking/unlocking.
Unfortunatly the wiring diagram doesn't show which way the feed is to the slaves.

i will give it a go. to your knowledge is the amr thing i changed anything to do with it or have i changed the alarm controller. it had a couple of plugs in it and a coax cable too
