Discovery 4 2010 low rail pressure

I have a discovery 4 that has low rail pressure
Restricted performance came on on motorway and would only restart with what I had at time (deodarnt) after wrecking an earth lead with constant cranking of engine got it on computer and its reading low rail pressure has anyone any suggestions

I think the problem at first was dirty fuel

Fuel filter would be first thing to check / change, although I'd be dropping the tank and checking the tank pump pre-filter and cleaning the fuel tank of any remaining debris. The pump module in the tank was £250-300 last time I looked.

Be more specific if you want proper help... what pressure and which is the exact fault code?... post these informations beside the engine type of your vehicle which is compulsory unless you want us to guess if it's diesel or petrol cos it's a huge difference when it comes to engine management or fuelling
