discovery 300tdi wastegate

hi how do i disconect the wastegate bar as i suspect it is siezed

what makes you suspect its siezed?

as i have read other posts and there are no marks in the rust to show it has been moving i also tryed moving it manualy with engine off and running also watched it while reving it it just stays still im not sure what i am sapose to see if anything just wanted to eliminate it from it not reving above 3000 rpm when i do hit aprox 3000rpm it like spluters and fumigates street if i hold gas at that point it starts to drop and dosnt like it

i have now disconected the waste from the manifold but the bar wont move but the manifold end is free

sorted it with a load of wd40 and a big bar it now moves car still the same thow but this bit is eliminated

did you ever get this fault fixed,I have a very similar fault with my old discovery
