Discovery 300tdi transfer box near Warrington

Yet again the discos broke, coming back from Catterick yesterday and it died. I need a replacement transfer by today as I have to go back tomorrow.

Lol, i'm used to it now. Last week I had to rip the rear axle off and replace it on sunday morning. The week before I had to lift the engine and replace the flex plate this week it's the transfer. Not the discos fault this week, hit something on the motoway its cracked part the case the somthing went bang. The only way it'll drive is with difflock engaged or the handbrake but it clunks and grinds lucky I was almost home.

Got it sorted, when got on it and started investigating more I found the rear diff had exploded. What ever I hit was big and had knocked me into diff lock at 70mph. So I presume that trashed the rear diff. But a corner of transfer where it bolts to gearbox is cracked nothings leaking but ill take it my dad and see if he can tig weld it. But shes all running again now good job I had a spare diff.
