Rear brakes need doing I've ordered disks and pads and a fitting kit for the pads. Not fetched my Haynes manual yet. So does the hand brake work on the rear pads or are there shoes in the disks. Also kit comes with some gaskets. Can anybody explain the fitting sequence or point me in a direction of a how too.
Cheers.

The handbrake works on the transmission not the rear brakes. If you look underneath, about the middle of the vehicle there is a large drum hanging of the end of the transfer box - that's it.

As James Martin said on the thread above in the link

"There just std bihex sockets, were more common years ago ,1/2 inch is better for caliper bolts as its slightly tighter fit and caliper bolts are often corroded slightly smaller"

I got mine off Ebay
