Discovery 3 left hand drive drivers seat airbag sensor

After a drunken bid on ebay my friend has got a 07 discovery 3 left hand drive with a ton of problems
most ive fixed now but ive got the airbag light on
code B00B5 drivers seat track position restraints sensor

But the sensor is on the passenger's seat base and the plug it goes to has no wire comes out of the other side
am i right in thinking someone had fitted the base to the wrong side of the car and i need to swap them over so the sensor is on the drivers seat (Left seat)
i know its a silly question but as its a left hand drive and im not sure what the sensor does they might of just left it on what would of been the drivers seat if it was RHD

Fixed someone had swapped the seats over from a RHD car so i drilled and riveted it to the drivers seat as there was no way to swap the seat base
