Hello I’ve got a td5 disco on 02. Been stood for month or so few problems lol
First 1 is with starter doesn’t stop spinning when wen engine started I byepassed the fuse for now


All for Windows not working can’t hear motor trying to work .also need to turn key 4/5 times on/of to turn engine of. And lights in dash’s come on / of without key. Obv electrical fault dno where to start ??

Hi. Start with replacing the interior fusebox, disconnect the battery first then after the swap and battery reconnection turn ignition on 2 and let it so 5 minutes, the fusebox must be from the same modell facelift or not.

Then replace the alternator first cos there are rare cases when it can cause such symptoms if the failure is on the control circuit... you should have mentioned the alternator from the beginning

Faulty ignition switch ?

Hello I’ve recently changed it with the alternator now She’s got Lewis struggling to get to 50 mpg not sure what I’ve done wrong any ideas
