Why not?? When he bought it he expected to have to spend a fortune or break it for spares.

he can sell it for whatever he wants. Assuming he can find a buyer, at that price.

If he's gonna limit the price to purchase + a curlywurly Then I'm having the fooker, anyway.. :rolleyes:

The point I was primarily making was; why try & hide what you paid when everybody knows anyway?
The thread that was created was there for all to see - just as this one is - and they're only a few weeks apart.

I hope he gets 3k+ for it - good on him and fair play.
 
IIRC Big P got slated for doing something similar...now i've met Nathan (aka summat else) and Mark L...both good lads who've helped me. If Nathan makes a few quid, fair play, done it myself a few times...but i think he would have got a bit more interest/offers if he hadn't revealed what he paid for it.

Ouch...got splinters from sitting on the fence....
 
I remember vaguely some of the **** that went around but wasnt that a case of bigp taking the **** out of other members in order to make his few quid?
 
Tint exactly in the spirit of the forum though is it?

Fair enough to make some dough...especially if yer struck it lucky..... but to hope to keep quiet what you paid for it (which has f**k all to do with what tis worth) goes against the grain.

Be up front or sell it elsewhere

Ive obviously caused the negativity in this thread for calling ajc a bellend, i can assure you all it was said in jest as was picked up by joe, maybe i shud not assume peeps will take things the way i meant em :)
