Hello folks have been reading the site for quite a while now and thought it was about time to join, say hello and post a few pics of my disco and discuss my future plans...

Its a Green Discovery 2 TD5 on a 2000 plate, she started off nice and shiny when I first got her, this soon changed after my first pay and play day at Silverdale where within 5 minutes of being there I ripped the front bumper off!

Currently has a terrafirma 2 inch shock n spring lift, britpart front winch bumper, QT front and rear diff guards and a Land Marque steering guard along with 265/75/16 insa turbo's and a wading kit.

I intend to get rid of the side steps very shortly and get some rock sliders on there, a snorkel is coming very soon as is a rear bumper to match the front.

Also really want a side exit exhaust and have been looking at the one D44 does just a little concerned with how loud removing the back box will make it...? (any thoguhts)

Thanks for looking and I look forward to my future as a member!

Sam.

The back box on a Disco 2 TD5 is a piddly little thing, so I cannot imagine it would make too much difference to how loud she is. The centre box, on the other hand is a suitcase-sized affair. Removing that whilst retaining the back box on my 2001 TD5 XS makes her sound bloody gorgeous for a diesel  and quite a bit louder, but not offensive (preaching to the perverted here I know!)
