discovery 2 td5 auto

hi there can any one give me some info/details on performance options for my disco 2 td5 auto.

i know there is bigger intercooler egr exhaust remap etc.

i have read some where that you do something to the gearbox ie change box modifiy something.not sure

any help would be greatful.

The TD5 engine being computer controlled is tuned predominently by electronic modifications.

There are mods you can do yourself, like blocking/removing the EGR valve, de-catting the exhaust downpipe and as you said installing a larger intercooler which all help, but elctronics is the thing with these.

Go to TD5Alive Ltd - Land Rover Td5 Specialists, Diagnostics, and Custom Performance Tuning for more info. TD5 as std is 135bhp, with tuning they can be easily 185 and even 200bhp!!!!

I'm sorry I couldn't reccomend anyone from personal experience as I haven't bought my TD5 ........yet !!!
