Discovery 2 td5 2002 runs great on idle and revs. Driving runs rough and cuts out

Does your fuel pump sou d any different? my td5 will start and rev when the pump.is dying but has no power and is rough as feck when trying to drive it

That's a good sign but if in doubt its a simple cheap swop out and defo check the filter

Could it be fuel pressure regulator or fuel return valve
