Hi all, I have recently had a 2002 Disco 2 ES which was a replacement for my much loved previous 300Tdi......The car has been well looked after and maintained regardless of cost, plenty of bills to prove it has been cared for. Everything on the car works perfectly except for the rear A/C unit which sits behind the left hand side trim in the boot..I have checked the wiring behind the roof mounted switch I have checked connections on and around the blower, I have checked the fuse, does anybody know of anything else I can look at... Having it working for the rear passengers isn't that important but, for me if it's fitted it should be working otherwise it will dig at me..lol. any help or advise will be appreciated. thx.

Which fuse did you check, it has a 40A one in the resistor pack, also there's a relay which could make you tricks,, or the switch see attachments

if the blower doesnt work on maximum speed from the switch it's not that fuse cos then the resistor pack is bypassed, that fuse is suspect if the blower works on full speed but not on others.... try that before you do anything else...did you check fuse F6 in the interior fusebox?...that yellow A line is connected to it

Hi, I seem to have been a bit of a TD5 newbie as I did not realise that the front climate control has to be on before the rear A/C is activated.....lol. Well now I know how to strip down the nearside rear trim and put all back together again..Lesson learned. I am going to start a new post as I have one final problem to sort.
