Anyone got any idea's how to open the door, as it won't open from either Inside or outside.
Also, I can only open the car by using the key in the drivers door lock, as the fob stopped working.

When you unlock with the dash switch all the other doors are reacting? if yes listen close to the non working door while somebody unlocks with the switch, can you hear any activity in that door then?

Yes, I have tried all the obvious stuff. How do you remove the door card when you can't open the door, it's there a trick?
I have never had to do it, so I cannot imagine it being easy.
But I am watching this thread with interest to see if there is something we are missing about how to get it open without doing damage to other bits.
If it unlocks then there may be an old skool, car thief way of actuating the opening mechanism to make it work.
If the little black doodah, that pops up and down to show locked and unlocked, actually pops up even for a micro second you may be able to yank on the handle provided you time it right.
From outside I'd say it can only be one of two things, the lock not unlocking or the handle not actuating the door release lever.
From inside it could be the child lock and I did have a case where the same door on mine would not respond to making the child lock "open from inside". But it did still open from outside.
Best of luck mate.

Thank you, finger's crossed we get someone knows how to sort it.

I'm pretty sure you can take the door card off with the door closed on the D2.
Remove Screw behind door pull, take off plastic trim. I think the winder is on a spring clip to remove.
Take surround from lock and push up pad with window down.
Take your time and don't force anything.
With pad off, have look at the cable, my bet is the plastic clip has broken.

Right, I had another go at unlocking the door by pressing the door unlock button and pulling on the interior lock knob. Along with pulling the interior door handle and it opened!
What I'm struggling with now though is getting the lock out to check out what's gone wrong. I have took the door card off and undone the window frame bolt's and screws to give me a bit me room. But I can't get enough wriggle on the lock and motor mechanism to disconnected the connecting wire to the external handle. If I could get the front part of the external handle out of the door. Then I would be able to turn the handle to disconnect the wire link. Any ideas?
