Discovery 2 battery flat

Hi, I have a 2004 discovery td5 and Every time go to start it the battery is completely dead. It’s been converted to springs and I’ve disconnected the air suspension electrics and took out interior lights that were staying on when not in the vehicle. It’s had 2 new battery’s and the terminals have been cleaned. The alternator is charging and I’ve done other battery tests. Can anyone help me?

If you can get hold of a Nanocom…
DISCOVERY 2 > TD5 or MOTRONIC > VALEO BCU > SETTINGS > INSTRUMENT PACK > select NO to turn off SLS.


That may or may not solve your dead battery issue but this step needs to be done when going from bags to springs.
